Policies

What is your cancellation policy?
Full refunds and credits are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before your scheduled rental. Cancellations inside the 48-hour window are not eligible for a refund or credit. No-shows are charged the full booking amount. All cancellation requests must be made by phone to be valid.

Do you cancel rentals for bad weather?
We operate in wind, rain, and overcast conditions. Rentals are only cancelled when conditions are determined to be life-threatening. In that case, our team will contact you directly to arrange a reschedule.

What happens if I arrive late?
Your rental window begins at your scheduled start time regardless of when you arrive. Arrivals more than 5 minutes late will be charged an additional hour per rented item. We cannot extend your booking into a subsequent reservation. Plan to arrive a few minutes early.

How do I cancel or ask questions?
Contact us by phone. All cancellation requests must be made by phone.

What to Bring

What should I bring for my rental?
Swimwear or quick-dry clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, water, and a towel. Life jackets are provided. For boat and jet ski rentals, food and snacks are also recommended for full-day outings.

Jet Skis & WaveRunners

What jet ski and WaveRunner models are available?
We offer the EX Deluxe, VX, VXR, and Jet Blaster Pro. The EX Deluxe and VX are well-suited for first-time riders. The VXR and Jet Blaster Pro are better suited for riders with prior experience. If you are unsure which model is right for you, call us and we will help you decide.

How many people can ride on a jet ski?
The EX Deluxe seats two. The VX, VXR, and Jet Blaster Pro seat up to three, subject to weight limits.

Do I need experience to rent a jet ski or WaveRunner?
No prior experience is required for the EX Deluxe or VX. Basic operating instructions are provided before departure. If you want a higher-performance model, prior experience is recommended.

How long can I rent a jet ski?
Rentals are available in half-day and full-day options. Full-day rentals are recommended for those who want to cover more distance and make multiple stops around the lake.

What can I do with a jet ski rental?
Explore open water at speed, cruise the shoreline, visit destinations like Wild Horse Island, and cover more of the lake than paddling options allow. Jet skis offer the most range and pace of any rental on the water.

Why choose a jet ski over a boat rental?
Jet skis are faster and more agile. They are the better choice for covering distance, navigating tighter areas, and a more active experience. Boats are better suited for larger groups and relaxed cruising with passengers who want to sit back rather than ride.

Boat Rentals

What types of boat rentals are available?
We offer pontoon boats and other recreational boats suited for cruising, swimming, and group outings. Pontoons are especially popular for families and larger groups due to their deck space and stability.

Do I need prior boating experience?
No. Basic instructions are provided before departure. Renters should be prepared to follow all safety guidelines and local boating regulations.

How long can I rent a boat?
Boat rentals are available in half-day and full-day options. Full-day rentals are ideal for those who want to explore multiple areas of the lake, anchor for a swim, and make the most of their time on the water.

How many people can fit on a pontoon boat?
Pontoon capacity depends on the specific boat but they are generally suited for families and small to medium groups. Contact us for specific capacity details before booking.

What can I do with a boat rental?
Visit Wild Horse Island, swim in open water or quiet coves, cruise the shoreline, and anchor for a relaxed afternoon on the lake. A boat rental gives your group a private, flexible day with no fixed itinerary.

When is the best time to rent a boat?
Late spring through early fall. Summer offers the warmest water and the best conditions for full-day outings and swimming stops.

Kayaks & Paddleboards

What kayak and paddleboard rentals are available?
We offer single and tandem kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), available by the hour, by the day, and for multiple days.

Do I need experience to rent a kayak or paddleboard?
No experience is required. Both are accessible for beginners, families, and casual paddlers.

What is included with a kayak or SUP rental?
Each rental includes the kayak or paddleboard, an adjustable paddle, and fins for paddleboards.

How much do kayak and SUP rentals cost?
SUP rentals start around $40 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Kayak rentals start around $80 per day depending on type. Hourly kayak options are also available.

Are multi-day rentals available?
Yes. Multi-day rentals are available for both kayaks and paddleboards, and are a practical option for visitors staying in the Flathead Valley who want access to the lake over several days.

Do you offer delivery and pickup for kayak and SUP rentals?
Free delivery and pickup are available for rentals of two days or more in select Flathead Valley locations, including Whitefish, Kalispell, Bigfork, Somers, and Lakeside.

How long should I rent a kayak or paddleboard?
Hourly rentals work for a quick outing. Half-day and full-day rentals are better for exploring the shoreline, reaching quieter coves, and getting the most out of your time on the lake. Multi-day rentals are the best value for visitors staying in the area.

What is the difference between kayaking and paddleboarding?
Kayaks are seated, more enclosed, and better for covering longer distances or for those who want a more stable, lower-center-of-gravity experience. SUPs are standing, more open, and better suited for calm water and a more active, balance-focused outing. Both let you move at your own pace and access areas motorized rentals cannot.

Why choose a kayak or SUP over a motorized rental?
Paddling rentals are quieter, lower-impact, and better suited for close shoreline exploration. They are the right call if you want a slower pace, a workout, or access to shallower and more scenic areas of the lake.
