About the Experience
Flathead Lake covers more than 190 square miles of clear, glacier-fed water in northwest Montana, with the Mission Mountains rising to the east and the Swan Range to the northeast. From a kayak on the north shore, you get access to calm coves, sandy shoreline stretches, and open water that a motorboat passes right over. The seated, low-profile position of a kayak keeps you closer to the water and gives you a different perspective on the lake than anything else we rent.
Daily rentals are built for visitors who want to move at their own pace — paddle out in the morning when the water is at its calmest, take a break onshore, and get back out in the afternoon without watching a rental clock. Multi-day rentals work well for visitors staying in the Flathead Valley who want the option to get on the water whenever conditions are right, without rebooking each day.
The 7th day is free on all kayak rentals. If you are staying a full week, book the 7-day option and get the last day at no charge.
Good to Know Before You Book
Cancellations: Full refunds and credits are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before your scheduled rental. Cancellations inside the 48-hour window are not eligible for refund or credit. No-shows are charged the full booking amount.
Weather: We operate in wind, rain, and overcast conditions. Rentals are only cancelled when conditions are determined to be life-threatening. In that case, our team will contact you directly to arrange a reschedule.
Late Arrivals: Your rental window begins at your scheduled start time regardless of when you arrive. Arrivals more than 5 minutes late will be charged an additional hour per rented item. We cannot extend your booking into a subsequent reservation. Plan to arrive a few minutes early.
